The Handsome Siblings

Assalamualaikum

Presenting..
The handsome siblings:)

Personally, i really like the pic when both of them - solat berjemaah - dgn waleed:)

It's already summer. They love spending their evenings playing with the sands

They also like to play 'Batman' and 'Robin', sambil menyuruh ummi mengikat kain pelekat waleed kat leher diorang

Bas 'Central London' tu actually kat nearby supermarket je. Bukan kat London betul2:)

Whenever there's pain, try your best to smile

Assalamualaikum

Currently..missing my family in Malaysia
Wanted to do lots of thing with them, ..but can't

Wanted to talk to them, but can't
Wanted to call them often, but can't
Wanted to laugh with them, but can't
Wanted to hug them, but can't
Wanted to chat with them, but can't
Wanted to eat with them, but can't
Wanted to laugh with them, but can't
Wanted to cry with them, but can't
Wanted to walk with them, but can't

and wanted to do lots of other things
and wanted to share lots of dreams
..but can't
..and it felft really hurt inside
..as if something is stucked inside the throat
..as if something is blocking the lung
..until it became so difficult to breath
..until it became so difficult to talk
..until it became so difficult to do any single thing

well,
yeah..

maybe it's time to sleep already
hoping that tomorrow will come
and erase these sorrow
and bring new happiness

How to Enjoy What You Are Doing, No Matter What

Assalamualaikum

Sometime..i feel that..
Too much of free time, that sometime, i'm being spoiled by it

Let's enjoy this good read, insyaAllah:

How to Enjoy What You Are Doing, No Matter What

In an ideal world, you would only have to do the things you loved to do, but reality is sometimes far from ideal, forcing you to deal with things that you’d rather leave for someone else.

Most successful people would agree that being able to do well on things you don’t like is essential for success, as consistent performance makes you stand out from your peers. So, how do you motivate yourself to not only get through it, but actually find some enjoyment in the process? Because remember, you’re more likely to perform well if you enjoy what you’re doing.

This Lifehack article offers six great tips that can help you find your sweet spot, no matter what you’re doing.

1. Look at the long-term benefit – Keep your eye on the future, and how this activity can benefit you later.

2. Find what you can learn from it – There’s always something you can learn from any situation. If you really can’t think of anything, at least it can teach you to be persistent no matter what, which is a valuable lesson in and of itself.

3. Think of doing it for someone you love

4. Enjoy your interactions with other people

5. Think and say something positive – Self-talk can make you or break you here. Focus on thinking and saying positive things, such as what a great learning experience this is, or how much you enjoy the people you’re working with, for example.

6. Gather with passionate people – Although you might hate the activity, others may be quite passionate about it. Whenever you can, choose to be infected by others’ positive energy.

Having a positive attitude is equally important when it comes to optimizing and maintaining your good health. Choosing to be happy is very easy to say but may be difficult to put into practice in the real world. Nevertheless, the benefits to your health -- both mental and physical -- are very real, but it will take some effort to get there.

If you're struggling with a negative attitude, one of the best and most effective natural treatments at your disposal -- the Emotional Freedom Technique -- has nothing to do with a one-pill-cure and everything to do with removing the cause or reason why you may be self sabotaging yourself with limiting beliefs.

You tend to manifest what you believe, and most of us have some pretty wacky beliefs that ruin our happiness on a regular basis. If you haven't yet taken advantage of EFT I would strongly encourage you to do so.

Hati yang lalai

Assalamualaikum wrt

Sedikit perkongsian pada hari ini
Baru selesai Discussion & Tilawah online bersama beberapa teman2 masdutch
Tilawah & Tadabbur: Al-Anbiya': 1-15

Ayat 1 dan 3, disebut ttg 'lalai'. Diulang 2 x, kalimat yg membawa maksud lalai
Ayat 1: Ghaflah=lalai
Ayat 3: Lahiyah=lalai

Ubat hati yg lalai:

Obat Hati ada lima perkaranya
Yang pertama baca Qur’an dan maknanya
Yang kedua sholat malam dirikanlah
Yang ketiga berkumpullah dengan orang sholeh
Yang keempat perbanyaklah berpuasa
Yang kelima dzikir malam perbanyaklah
(Petikan nasyid)

Selamat beramal!

Muslim Dutch Family

Assalamualaikum

Last week, we went to Vollendam (one of the cities in The Netherlands), with Nida/Amirasyid's family, who came all the way from Nottingham, UK for ziarah and tour. They got the air tickets for 8 pence (can u believe it?) from Ryan-Air

Captured this pic in one of the photo shops there. One of their tourist attractions. Comel tak? hehe

Iqbal was so uncooperative, keep on crying (tak selesa agaknye pakai baju dan kasut org2 dutch tu), while holding a toy fish. While Luqman was very cooperative and dazed?, with the fishing net on his shoulder and a bucket of fish on his hand. Waleed was posing sakan with the accordion

The cameraman had to flash many2 times to get this pic.

Maybe a muslim dutch family will look like this?
Ingat tak gambar logo susu Dutch Lady? any resemblance?
hehe

Till then,

Wassalam

Assalamualaikum

It's been 1 year since I left Malaysia

One year ago
I was a medical doctor
Working in the busiest hospital in Malaysia
Doing on calls weekly
Seeing patients daily
Prescribing medications routinely

Today
I'm a fulltime housewife
A part time student
Seeing my 2 kids growing up healthily
Following my husband doing his pHD diligently
Doing house chores daily
Goes shopping biweekly
Studying whenever it's possible

Sometime
It did occur to my mind
What am I doing with my life?

But then
No matter how successful you'll be
No matter how great your position will be
In the end
You'll be lonely without your family around
You won't be happy with your glory, when you're all alone

A reminder to myself
When sometime
I'm doubting myself
For the decision that I've made
For the time that I've spent

Whatever happens
'Family always comes first'

May Allah bless us
In every decision that we made
In every breath that we take
In every second that we live

Till we meet Him again
In the hereafter
InsyaAllah

It's already spring now
But these pictures were taken during last winter season
We were ice-skating at the nearest canal in front of our neighbourhood
A bit too late though
But, it's better late than never
Like what papa always said to us when we were kids
and we were late for school
(and it was like 'everyday')

Cheers
Wassalam

Luv,
ky
